Today is Memorial Day and I cant help but think about my cousin, Major Richard Gannon. He gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom in 2004. Today is also his birthday, he would have been 39 today. I miss him. I wish that he was here to meet Jaime and Cruz. I know Ricky would have some amazing advice for Jaime and would be a great mentor for him.
This song by Toby Keith has always made me think of Ricky. We miss you and will always keep your memory alive!
