My baby shower in Alabama

My dear friend Vanessa wanted to throw me a baby shower out here in Alabama, she put together an awesome event. We had about 10 girls there and it was such a fun time. Vanessa is about to have her first baby any day now and so I was a bit concerned about her going overboard and throwing herself into labor... luckily that did not happen. However, Vanessa still went above and beyond for me and baby Cruz.

As we pulled up to her house I saw a sign blowing in the wind that said "Baby Shower" in blue letters. When I walked in I saw all my fellow Army wife friends there to greet me. Jaime came in for a minute to say hi and check out the set up (and grab some food, of course).

Then I looked over to the table and saw this amazing diaper cake Vanessa made!

We started off by eating and then went into playing some games. We played Baby Jeopardy, Remember what's in the diaper bag and the Play dough Game. It was fun!

Next it was present time!

Lastly, we had some delicious home-made cake!

And since there were 6 of us there who are pregnant, we had to take a pregnant shot! We are all lined up most pregnant to least pregnant. It is so fun to be able to go through pregnancy with so many friends.

Overall, it was a great baby shower. I enjoyed it so much! I am so thankful for all the awesome gifts for Cruz. And I am especially thankful for Vanessa putting so much hard work into making it such a special day!!
