And baby GIRL makes 4

We are so pleased to announce that we will be adding another addition to our happy home! I got pregnant right after Jaime got home from deployment and we couldn't be happier to shout the news to the world! As I sit here and munch on some Jelly Belly's... I think to myself how blessed I am to have such an amazing life. I have the most wonderful husband who I am so in love with, an incredible son who amazes me every day and brings so much fun and laughter to our house and am now blessed to be pregnant with our baby GIRL! My due date is October 16th which makes me almost 19 weeks pregnant right now. I am feeling great and have so much energy. Cruz doesn't quite seem to understand what is going on, but I'm doing what I can to prepare him. I think he is going to be an amazing big brother! I will try and post more updates on my pregnancy as time goes by. Its finally getting warm again here in Hawaii, so its beach time again! I love the amazing Hawaiian weather! Here are some pictures of my baby girl.

Christmas 2012 in Hawaii

We had a really nice Christmas here in Hawaii with our little family. Cruz woke us up super early and wanted to come "NINE" which means... DOWNSTAIRS! So we came down to see what Santa had brought for him and boy was he excited. He got a new bike from Nani and Papa Pate, a slide, a basketball hoop, a pirate ship, a BUNCH of blocks, bath toys, a new stuffed Piglet, a Noah's Arc and some other nicknacks. He really loved opening the presents and had fun all day playing with all his new toys! I could barely pull him away to eat. The best present Cruz and I got though was having Jaime home with us! Life is starting to get back to normal and we are adjusting back to having daddy home. It is so nice to have him back. I made a nice Mexican dinner for us and we ate and enjoyed ourselves together all day. I cannot believe its almost 2013! Wow, time flies! I cannot wait to see what 2013 has in store for us. Hope everyone had the best Christmas ever! Love and well wishes from the Jarrin Family! Here are some photos from Christmas morning.
Our tree. Jaime and I decorated it when he got home from deployment.
Coming downstairs to see what is under the tree!
In awe of it all!
Playing in his Christmas PJs!
Heres a video I uploaded to youtube of Jaime playing at the park with Cruz on Christmas Day.

Jaime is home from deployment!

The wait is finally over... my husband returned home at 2 AM on Dec 13, 2012. Cruz has his daddy back and we are finally a family that lives together again! Its so nice to have him home. It is a little bit of an adjustment, but we are having fun and just trying to spend as much time together as we can. Cruz has to get to know his daddy all over again since he has been gone half his little life. And I have to re-connect with my husband again. It still feels like he might leave us again, but I know he won't. I feel like I can breathe easy knowing he is back and in our arms. I never want him to leave us again. Cruz had the best welcome home present for Jaime too... he broke his arm the morning after Jaime got home! Wow, that was crazy. He fell off the bed and must have broken his fall by his wrist or maybe hit it on the cabinet as he went down. Poor little guy has an awesome blue cast now that will be with him for the next month. So no beach for a whole month... DARN! I was really looking forward to some family beach time, but it will just have to wait. All in all, we are so happy to have Jaime home for GOOD and we are going to really live it up here in Hawaii for the next year and a half! Here are some pictures from the coming home ceremony:

Maddix Pate is coming soon!

I am so excited that I have another niece coming into this world! My brother Will and his wife, Lachele are expecting baby number 2. And since I wasnt around to throw Lachele and Jorja a shower last time, I figured I would throw them a nice shower this time around! It turned out really nice and everyone had a great time. We did a pink and yellow theme with birds. Here are some pictures of the party. Here's the happy Pate family!
We had everyone color a letter and it will be bound as a alphabet book for baby Maddix!
Our drink table.
Everyone enjoying some time together.
The desert table was a big hit!
Polka dot cake made by my mom!
The guys chugged some beer from baby bottles!
Two preggos... Michele and Lachele. So cute!
Overall it was a great baby shower and we had lots of fun! I cannot wait until Maddix gets here. Sadly, I wont be able to be there for the birth since we are living in Hawaii again. But I will be back to visit as soon as possible!

September Fun in California!

Its our last couple weeks here in California before we move back to Hawaii to wait for Jaime to get home, so we have been trying to get the most out of it. Last week my bestest friend in the whole world visited us for the week. It was awesome to have her here!!! Meg has never met Cruz... her living in Australia and us Jarrin's moving all over the nation all the time, makes it hard to visit each other! Cruz loved Tia Meg!! We hung out a lot at home and did lots of shopping! Here's a couple pictures of Meg, Cruz and me.
This week we went to Disneyland TWICE... yes, in the 90 degree southern CA weather! Crazy, I know! But we are trying to get the most out of our annual passes before I move away in a couple weeks. Monday my mom and I went with Cruz and Jorja and then Friday the Shuttle Endeavor was making its last flight over Disneyland, so we decided to go again with Lachele. We waited in the heat for 1.5 hours for the shuttle to fly over! It was neat to see it! My grandma, Nana Reyes, even came along to see it all. She hadn't been to Disneyland since the 1960's! She couldn't believe how different it was. I can only imagine what was going through her mind. She said back then they never had to wait in lines, wouldn't that be amazing? The worst part of Disneyland is the lines! It was a fun day as you can see from the pictures. We plan to go at least ONCE more before I leave. ;) We have lots going on these next couple weeks. Time to move once again... Hawaii here we come... for the second time!
Lachele had her pregnancy craving for the day... Beignets!
Halloween time at Disneyland! LOVE!!
Cruz was so happy to be at the happiest place on earth!!
Nana Grande waiting in line patiently for a ride... Lachele and Jorja didnt mind the wait either!
Cruz loved the Finding Nemo ride!
Last but not least, here is the shuttle Endeavor making its last flight over the skies of Disneyland!

5 months left of deployment...

Cruz and I have been cruZing through this deployment with the help of all of my family and friends out here in CA keeping us nice and busy. We are enjoying being around family, but nothing beats having our beloved Jaime home with us... even if it means living across the Pacific ocean! Sorry its been a while since my last post, but boy is it hard to find time to get on the computer and just write! Especially with lots going on over here. Jaime came home for R&R and it was awesome! We really enjoyed the entire 2 weeks. Jaime's parents and his brother Adrian (his other brother, Diego, and wife Julia live here still) were able to come out here to visit during that time and it was nice for the Jarrin family to be all together again here in CA like the good ol' days. While we were all together we did a family photo shoot, which turned out pretty amazing. I have posted a couple shots from it below. We enjoyed a day at Disneyland while Jaime was here as well. Jaime and I even got to go on a little vacation of our own to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico while Cruz stayed here with my parents. I posted a couple shots from our vacation there as well below. Overall, the two weeks flew by faster than ever and I did not want Jaime to leave when the time came. But this is the Army and they need their soldier back in action over there. One month has gone by since he left and I was able to secure a house for us in Hawaii on the military base. I flew out there and moved in within a week's span and then came back here to spend another couple months. I will move back to Hawaii for good in October. Our last couple months here in CA should be pretty fun, we have a lot going on and I hope time moves quick. Life without my husband is not fun, Cruz and I NEED him home. But we will push through and keep busy to make time FLY! I promise not to go so long until my next post. Lots of fun stuff coming up!
